Sheffield to the Cubs?

Just saw that the Cubs are interested in Sheffield. I guess the Yankees are asking for a reliever and young starter. Sheff is good, but I'm not sure he is worth it. The dude is 38 years old!

I think a lot depends on the contract, and this is why it will be difficult to deal for him. He may want an extension and if that's the case many teams will probably back away lol. If he's willing to just play for the 1 year remaining on his old deal then it will probably be a situation if you take the contract you only have to give up decent to b level prospects, but if the yankees pay the 11 million or close to all of it that may be when they want a top flight prospect, so I think a lot depends.
