New Member, in New Mexico

Hi everyone! I am a lifetime Cub fan (I still remember '69 and have been 'waiting til next year' a long, long time). Originally from the Chicago area, I now call New Mexico home. I have stayed true to the Cubs and follow them on Gameday Audio and, occasionally, on TV when I visit a friend who has cable. It's been several years, but I used to watch the Cubs every March in Mesa, which is about an 8-hour drive from where I live. I am hoping to connect with other fans from many parts of the world. Actually, I was looking for Cubs chat rooms but haven't found anything other than message boards and forums.
I am very excited about this season and look forward to making new Cub friends. Go Cubs Go!

VanMan on here does a wonderful job of play by play when he isn't working.
