As it stands now... I'd go with
CUBS- Best lineup in division if not the NL. Need a starter.
ASTROS- I think they'll get Pettitte back, and their lineup is pretty solid.
CARDS- They play as a team. Need piching help.
REDS- They have a good young team.
BREWERS- Young team, but still young. Rotation is questionable.
PIRATES- Makings moves, but that's about it.

I'm not so sure we're a 98 win team right now.. but I do think we're the best team in the central.. I challenge you to find me a better lineup in the central, and a better complete team.. we've got a great bullpen, an awesome lineup, and our SP's are starting to look good..

im very hesitant to make any predictions much less pick us to win the division. I still think as things stand now we are wild card contenders unless we get another proven starter and a sure fire CF. If those things fall into place then yeah we have a solid shot at the division title. I hate predicting anything when it comes to the cubs. I wont do it.

I also think the Cards, as of right now, would be the NL Wildcard, and a dangerous one at that. I like the Mets in the East, Dodgers in the West. A World Series appearance for the Cubs looks possible. I'll predict a Cubs vs. Yankees World Series. Cubs in 6.
