Going through another board to see what there outlook is on the new signing of Lilly and I just can never be amazed at what I find there but this is a good one take a look.

Wow... That guy's a douche... I do agree we overpaid for Lilly, but there was no other choice. Chen is terrible... I could care less what he's doing in PR. I remember watching games last year where every hit he gave up left Camden Yards...

I'll take Lilly, overpay or not. I still think with the questions surrounding Miller, Prior, & Wood, JH needs to bring 1 more arm in. Even if they all perform, you can never have too much starting pitching...

There will always be a-holes like that guy who will question every move we make thinking he could have done a better job. JH went and got the best pitcher available and I don't think he overpaid a bit considering the market right now. Bruce Chen sucks, no need to comment further. Lugo, Ill take the proven gold glover which is what we need more right now. Our offense is the most potent in the division as things stand right now, so we need the defense.

Im with you 100%. If we had a team of power hitters what would our defence look like? Thats the only thing I agree with Steve Stone about is corner power then SS and 2nd would be low power guys with good range and good gloves. When you look at the team all around we have a pretty damn good team this year. Just Lou it a massive upgrade IMO, the guy can spot tallent (look at all the really good young player that came up under him) and is just what the team needs get them going. Thats a big reason why Aram is sticking around. He knows nothing matters more to Lou than winning and thats all that should matter.
