Rotoworld is reporting we signed Daryle Ward to a 1 year deal. Good guy for the bench, to back up Lee and pinch hit...

He played some back up 1B last year for te Braves, and I think he hit around .300. I didn't check, so I could be off there.

I don't know much about this guy but from looking at his stats he is a quality back up. If its true good pick up, sure they didn't spend a ton on him which makes it even better!!

This is a decent signing. I hope it means we don't go after Floyd now. I want Murton to have a chance to play for a whole season and show everyone what he can do.

I read earlier that they were still in talks with Floyd and they are still pursuing another starting pitcher but they are not sure if it will come from the free agent market or by trade.

LMAO....this is a good signing...nice bench guy and lefty I think.

Daryle Ward is a good signing IMO.

Left handed power bat off the bench who can play 1B and the OF *which I hope we wont be desperate enough to place him out there*.

He strikes out a lot but he is a better hitter than Mabry so kudos on that.
