Rich Hill-S-Cubs Apr. 24 - 10:10 am et
Manager Lou Piniella said Wednesday that the Cubs will use Monday's off day to skip Rich Hill's next turn in the rotation.
Hill is now scheduled to start on May 3 against the Cardinals, which would give him nine days between outings.

why are they skipping hill? he had a good outing last start he has been gettin better as the season goes on also.

because they want their best starters (the ones who have been pitching the best) to stay on regular rest. You always want your best starters to get as many starts as possible

We need to put away the Brewers early. They will only improve as the year goes on.

They definetly need to get 2/3 next week against the Brewers before they start really doing good.

Len mentioned during last nights game that Lou didnt want a lefty in the Brewers series because they are crushing them compared to righties.
