Ryan Church

Has anyone heard anything new as far as any chance we have of acquiring this guy. I am a huge believer in the kids abilities over an entire season, and would love to see him on the north side, havent heard anything new for a few days, have you?

Left- hander Sean Marshall, a Virginia native, is thought to be involved in the deal, though the Nationals are said to be more interested in right-hander Carlos Marmol, a 24-year-old the Cubs might be hesitant to move"

I would give Marmol and Marshall for Church and one of their better low-level pitching prospects.
Marmol for Church is a no-brainer. Church hit 10HR in less than 200 ABs last year, and with respectable AVG and OBP. He is a quality all-around player, no real flaws in his game...
