Offense puts a$$e$ in seats (That is why Mikey Vick is still the QB here in Atl), but pitching and defense win. As it stands today...

Avg HR RBI SB Runs
Soriano 0.310 50 100 50 120
DeRosa 0.250 10 50 15 60
Lee 0.320 40 100 5 80
Ramirez 0.280 30 80 5 80
Barrett 0.270 25 70 5 60
Murton 0.300 15 50 10 40
Jones 0.250 15 50 20 40
Isturis 0.230 5 25 20 40
0.27625 190 525 130 520

Here is my list of starters and my predictions (yes I am being optimistic)
Here is where I see an issue. I like Barrett and Isturis. DeRosa is ok at 2b. Soriano scares me in CF. My hope is that we can send Jones somewhere and get a solid defensive CF. At this point, we can eat the mediocre offense of Izturis and a CF is we keep Murton and Soriano in the OF.

What do you think?

optimistic is putting it a bit light.. you think sori's good for 50-50? and you really think Izzy's gunna bat 2.30?

Well Since Hendry and Lou have made it clear that Soriano will be playing one of the corner outfield spots don't think there is a reason to be alarmed with having Soriano in Center. However Jones has played center before and it scares me to see him play there next season. So as it stands now it looks like it will be Murton in left, Jones in Center, and Soriano in right.
