They just raped the Stros, that would be like us giving Hill, Murton, and Marmol for Jennings. I hope the Stros have lube for that pounding they just took lol, and if they can't resign him then it's even worse.

and the 'Stros have to re-sign Jennings. If they lose him to FA after this year this would really be a bad trade.

The Rockies likely got a better deal altogether, but the Disastros filled a big void that Pettite created when he screwed them. They needed a pitcher.
He made some comment that the he was shocked that the Astros wouldn't didn't increase their offer from $12mil. what a turd burglar!

Well, shwerve, I wouldn't put that one on Pettitte though. The 'Stros offered him 12 while the Yanks offered him 16. He just told the 'Stros to meet him in the middle at 14 and he would stay. Pretty bad move on the 'Stros part over just a couple million.
And, the Rockies did get the better end of this deal, but the 'Stros got a guy a lot of us Cub fans wanted. I just hope he doesn't torment the Cubs and that they won't be able to re-sign him later.

Well I guess I can't blame him because money apparently talks today. Maybe a little loyalty. Wasn't he out a good portion of the year. You're right though.

I'm rather interested to see how Taveras (sp?) does in Colorado.
