Rangers grab Gagne

Gagne is going to the Rangers for a year, pending a physical. Kind of makes you wonder if we should have grabbed him. Hopefully either Wood or Demp will figure it out and be the closer for a long time to come.

It could take a while for Gagne to get his arm strength back. He hasn't pitched in 2 years.

He would probably still be better then Dempster though...lol..:D

I'm going to throw down a prediction. I bet Gagne won't make it the entire year without a stint on the DL.

The closer role is something we certainly need to address. Gagne would have been great, but a bit of a gamble. I predict Howry will be closing by July.
