He could not have put it more perfectly. He mentioned Soto, Theriot, and Marmol. He said that Theriot and Soto would have to continue their success- I thought both played above expectations the first half. He then said Marmol would have to regain his old form- which we can all understand. I also think Dempster performed at a higher level than we expected.
BB also mentioned fundamentals and focus. I think this was perfect because we do need to improve in both of these areas. We do not execute when we lose, but that is the story for most teams. Focus- that shows up after we have a 2-0 lead in series and just go through the motions the 3rd game.
Of course we start off the 1st inning of the second half seeing 4 pitches.
