I don't think he will show..... poor guy just wants to be left alone. I can't blame him at all.

I bet he won't show. He will never be left alone though. Hell give me $25K and I will go kick Alex Gonzales in the groin the real reason why we lost that game.

I heard on the Jim Rome Show this morning that Bartman has already declined, but he also thinks there might be a higher offer. He advises Bartman to "stay down" and that the Cubs should be able to close this one out, and he'd be vindicated like Buckner was by the Red Sox faithful after the 2004 Series win.

It's about time Cubs fan stop blaming Steve Bartman for the Cubs NLCS loss in 2003. Bartman is a big Cubs fan who did what most fans do. He went after a foul ball that was hit his way in the stands. Could Alou have caught that ball? I guess we will never know. But 1 foul ball did not cost the Cubs the game. Alex Gonzalez and Mark Prior did their part in the Cubs loss that day. Not to mention the fact that the Cubs had their best pitcher in Kerry Wood pitching game 7 at home in which they loss. Bartman has yet to cash in on the fame that the famous play in the 8th inning has brought him. Further proof of how big of a fan he is. Leave the guy alone, he did NOT cost the Cubs a world series. Alex Gonzalez should be paying Bartman monthly instalments for taking the blame off of him.
