Great idea!!! I turn the TV on mute and turn Pat and Ron on during games sometimes.

I'll usually just come up here and listen to them on the radio and talk to people online while I also have the gametracker on cubs.com going.

I wish I could mute the tube and liten to pat and ron but my reciever doesnt work where my cable is hooked up. Annoying, i have to bring my clock radio back there. A pain in the *** but worth it.

There was a guy a while back named Wonderful Terrific Mons. I want to say he played for the Expos. Hands down best name in baseball.

he played for the Cardinals about 5 years ago Chip use to make fun of him all the time calling him a 3rd generation stubby when they came to Wrigley.

In the early 90's,the Giants had a catcher by the name of Steve Decker.
They also had a pitcher on there staff named Bud Black.
I remember Harry and Steve having a lot of fun with the Giant's battery of
