everyone mentioned on the 25 man, and our 2 on the DL

Big Z- Showing why he is or ace, occasional hiccup not withstanding.
Harden- Hang in their kid, you will get an unearned win to make up to the two earned wins that you didnt get. Great stuff, if he stays healthy we have a great 1-2 punch for a long time
Demps- I thought he would be good in the rotation, but I would be lying if I said I thought he would be this good
Lilly- rough start but has rebounded very well. Has to be the best number 4 pitcher in the game right now
Marquis- Crappy start, but his last dozen or so games have been amazing. Last outtig 3 runs in 6 innings Quality start by baseball stats. I will take it

Gaudin- Great stuff, valuable in the pen
Marshall- i love this kid, but he should be sent down to keep his arm stretched out
Cotts- has been off and on, but when he is on, he is nasty.
Sammy (cant spell his name without looking at it)- Great first outting kid, you will be a star if your stuff stays as nasty. Just learn how to throw a pitch out and you will be fine
Eyre- Welcome back..... looked good before going down, not enough time back to comment really
Howry- Way back, its outta here. I've stood up for him, but cant anymore. He gives up way too many runs... 1 an inning is way too much
Marmol- Scarey for the last two months but has looked good the last few outtings..... outside of his last outting pulling his version of the wild thing. walking the bases loaded in the 9th ang getting out of it without allowing a run

Lee- Mr Double Play. What the heck has happened to Lee. I know he is on pace for his career stats, but what has happened to him. He cant seem to do anything with men on base but hit into a double play. Put a guy on second or third with one out, he would find a way to hit into a double play right now.
DeRo- my under the radar MVP, he plays everywhere, and does it all. His batting average has suffered since the break, but he will be fine.
Fontenot- Santo's (or Ranto's if you listened to the game on radio yesterday) Little Babe Ruth. This kid is as big as me (litterally) and has amazing surprising power. Too bad he can only play 2B, I would love to see this kid play more often.
Theriot- The Riot, our current MVP, gets on base, hits to all sides, lacks power but doesn't really need it. He can do it all (minus the HR swing)
Ram- 0- alot, he is in a massive slump. We need him to snap out of it. He is normally our best RBI guy, but hasn't been able to get the wood on the ball
Sorianio- Missed most of the season, so cant complain too much. When he is here our offense is usualy jumping. I was listening to the game so I dont know if Quade sent him or he ran through the stop sign which he does from time to time
Johnson- Thank you Toronto. Above average D, occasional pop. I like having his bat here
Edmonds- Thank you SD, he has found new life here in Wrigleyville. Much needed lefty bat with power. He is starting to cool off though, but he has already earned his paycheck from the Cubs even if he doesnt do anything again.
Fukudome- Stop looking like a wirlybird when swinging please. Stop running to first before you even make contact. Great D in the OF, but your bat is slowing down.
Soto- Rookie of the year candidate. He is ina bad slump, and he is much needed right now
Blanco- I have said it for years, no one buys it. He is the best backup catcher in the majors
Cedeno- Love having this kid on the bench. Occasional power, decent BA, and a poorman's DeRosa, He can play numerous positions.
Ward- Good bat to have off the bench, but needs to do a little more when he is put in the game. His defense is lacking.

Wood- Hurry back, you have done a great job since being inserted into the closers role. We need you back fast
Lieber- Outside of when you face the Reds, you have been a great addition to the long relief. We could use you again.

I would love to try to upgrade Cedeno. He has had a nice year as a reserve, but he is never going to play everyday. I would love to see Loretta, Scutaro, and best case scenario Jerry Hairston Jr come here and take that spot.

The problem with Fontenot is he his just too limited on defense. There is not too many reserves in the major leagues that can just play 2B.

another supersub would be great in place of Cedeno. But he isnt doing enough either way for me to love him or hate him to be honest

Cedeno came up with a big PH yesterday and a homer on Thursday. He does bring speed and good defense. I just think Loretta would be a good veteran hitter off the bench.

" Ward- Good bat to have off the bench, but needs to do a little more when he is put in the game. His defense is lacking. "

More then generous to Grimmace ( see footnote ) here . A buck fifty off the bench is worthless , hell Ted Lilly would be better , as for defence , he would only be considered a defencive replacment for the opposing team .
