Lilly did about as well as he could. Howry was good except for 1 pitch. Gaudin awesome.. Marmol is getting closer. Offensively, with exception of Aram, was good as well.. Reed didnt get a knock either but had a huge breakup at 2B. Lee finally comes through in the clutch. 3 more to go in this series.

"All 25 guys have contributed and I think that's what you see good teams do," Johnson said, "and that's what you see playoff teams do. We've been picking each other up all year."

While it was a team effort, Johnson had the play of the game. Forcing Week's error was the play of the game

Yeah what a play man. Brennley is the only one who pointed out how big that play was. It was the key to the win

That slide was good, hard nosed baseball. Love it. Also, I like the fact that these guys weren't intimidated by sabathia. They went up there with patience and knocked him around. Whats better, they wont have Torres available tonight.

that is the kind of play that true baseball fans love. That is why Reed Johnson got a standing O in Toronto. Thats how the game is supposed to be played

Another good play was the play when the Brewers scored their 3rd run and Lee cut off the throw and gunned the runner at 3rd. The Brewers announcers thought the Cubs had a chance to get Fielder at the plate and that Soto "seemed upset at the cutoff", but I envisioned Fielder plowing through Soto on a play at the plate and Lee may have conceded the run to save his life.

Sliding into Weeks was probably the play of the game and the example of good, old-school, hard-nosed baseball. Johnson is a ball player.
