So today in health class, we got to sit through a 10 minute video of a lady giving birth. Now, they showed everything, and I mean EVERYTHING. I can usually handle gross things, but wow, even I wanted to puke a bit. But then when I got home, I remembered awhile back when I heard about an art teacher at some school getting fired for suggesting to some of his students that they should go to this place where people pose naked for people to draw them, because some of his students were serious about being art majors in college, and he said they'd need to learn how to draw a naked human body. Now this is just messed up beyond my imagination. We watched an actual child birth, go to see EVERYTHING as I said, when in reality, us watching a birth serves no purpose when you think about it. And, they showed it in school no less. Now this guy gets fired for suggesting that a few students go to this place to draw some naked people, which is something they would do in college, and considering the people he told were seniors, it makes much more sense to me then showing a gross child birth. I am amazed at things sometimes.

yeah, I had to watch a video of the same thing.. it sucked, because I had health fourth period.. which meant that I had to go to 25 minutes of class, go eat, then come back for the final 25 minutes. And on top of that, some of us knew the lady. Eww.

That does suck. I had it right after lunch, but luckily I skipped lunch to go to the library and finish a paper.

Dudes, your country sucks :p (I can't even remember what sex ed we did, but i missed years worth of "social ed" classes, everything i know i learned from dating a catholic and playground rumour :D)
It does serve a purpose, not necessarily for guys, but if you were a woman and you saw that would you be having sex anytime soon?

I haven't had sex since, and I'm a guy. I don't want to have to be there for it.

yeah its ridiculous. for someone reason the human body is naughty and shameful until you are 18. i just read a story about a HS art teacher who was suspended for making paintings with his body, at home, on his own time, under a psuedonym. Gotta love the religious right. And i saw that video in biology class. I soon learned about condoms right after that.

There is a thin line these days on what is right and wrong. What I really love now is the fact that you have to say HAPPY HOLIDAYS insted of MERRY CHRISTMAS. What a crock of **** IMO.

Well my english teacher basicly explained it to our whole class, who is pregnant btw, and everyone is reminding her about it. Shes young, so she say the same video when she was in highschool. Anyways, as she said, "Yea, it's meant to scare you out of having unprotected sex when your young. Then you get to my age and well, you forget. Now I get to have people remind me of how painful it'll be, so thanks guys"
But I still don't get how we can see this, but not naked body's in paintings. Ridiculous.
