With his phailed fysical, what do you think happens next with him and the BoSox?

He's getting a second oppinion. If he still fails, then I think they'll take the offer back.

But with the market having cleared so much.. who do you think they'll put out there if he fails his second opinion? I mean, do you put a Wily Mo out there?

Am I the only one who is smiling at the notion that JD "Eggshell" Drew may have failed his physical? I just think it took some major guts to seek a raise from a $11mil salary whe he got 100rbis for the first time in his career. I hope he fails the second physical and he has to go to the Devil Rays for $2mil.

I think you have to go out with Wily Mo. Defense on the corners would blow, but the offense is sexy.

I don't think that its serious enough for Boston to give up on him. I think what it comes down to is Boston is trying to save a few dollars and they will renegotiate a contract with incentives.

well he has been injury proned and a failed physical is just another reason not to sign him because of his past.

I agree Sheff. I think they'll probably just try to come up with a new deal if he fails the second physical. Not a position you want to be in, though, if you're the Sox.
