AI to Nuggets


The Denver Nuggets have acquired G Allen Iverson and F Ivan McFarlin from the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for G Andre Miller, F Joe Smith and two first round draft picks. Iverson has averaged 28.1 ppg during his 11-year career.

Dang that's a big deal for Denver especially after losing Carmelo. Perhaps the brawl was a blessing in disquise? We'll find out.

Yeah, gem, should be interesting. A.I. can have his way for the next couple weeks or so with Carmelo out, but then he's going to have to share the rock, which is a pretty new concept to him. Plus, George Karl isn't going to take his crap. Look at the beat down he put on Isaiah Thomas! :p

A.I. and Carmelo worked really well together on team USA, heck Iverson was the only one with heart during that tournament. I think they can work well together, he isn't a spring chicken anymore and doesn't want to retire as a great player without a ring.
