Hey guys it's me again with another idea. I've seen sites where you get a specified avatar by post count. The avatar would be a selection of more different pictures the higher you go up. Here's just an example:

0-9 Bleacher Bum (2 Pics of Wrigley Fans)
10-49 Bat Boy (1 or 2 Bat Boy Pictures)
50-99 Spring Training Invitee (1 pic)
100-249 Rookie Ball Player (1 pic)
250-499 A Player (1 Pic)
500-699 AA Player (1 Pic)
700-999 AAA Player (2 pics)
1000-1499 Long Reliever (Rusch, Guzman)
1500-1999 Bullpen Pitcher (Howry, Eyre, Cotts, Novoa)
2000-2499 Pinch Hitter (Daryle Ward)
2500-2999 Utility Man (Henry Blanco)
3000-3499 Flamethrower (Wood)
3500-3999 Infielder (Barrett, Cedeno, Izturis, Derosa)
4000-4499 Closer (Dempster)
4500-4999 Starting Pitcher (Lilly, Marquis, Marshall, Prior)
5000-5999 Outfielder (Jones, Murton, Pie)
6000-6999 Big Bopper (Ramirez)
7000-7999 Free Agent (Soriano)

Haha cool idea...at the same time i dont think i'd like a ranking system, i'd prefer to use my own avatar. some people dont post a whole lot and might not wanna get stuck as a batboy/minor leaguer. At another board i post at they got like a reward system...for example once you get to 300 posts you can post messages in hidden blocks and theres supposed to be a "secret society" once you get to 5000 posts but i dont know what thats all about as i'm only around 500 posts.

Nice idea, but we already have user titles put in place depending on how many posts you have. Plus, I think most people would prefer to have their own avatars and be unique. Thanks for the suggestion though. They are always welcome. :)

what are the specs for the user titles?

Here is the User Title post count (minimum posts in parentheses):

Little Leaguer (10)
Minor Leaguer (50)
Rookie (100)
Veteran (250)
All-Star (500)
MVP (1000)
Hall Of Famer (2500)
Legend (5000)

And once you hit Veteran, you start earning baseballs (up to 5 for Legend status). :D
