I'm sorry, but I have been saying this since the beginning of the year, Howry just su*ks. He should be off this team and I can't believe Lou put him in with a tie score.

Lou should have taken him out after the 2nd hit, especially with what 10 guys in the bullpen
Come on Lou, wake up

The genius of Lou Pinella: The Cubs have lost 3 games in a row, so this game has some level of importance to it. You don't want to play your worst baseball towards the end of the season. So in a tie game, in a game you really want to win, Lou brings in the Cubs worst reliever all season. And after he was obvious struggling and didn't have anything on the mound(common theme from Howry this season) Lou still just left him in. I think it is obvious that Bob Howry is not going to help the Cubs the rest of the seaon. Unfortunately it is also obvious that our manager can't manage a bullpen to save his life.

Hopefully Guzman's performance is Howry's death knell, at least as Lou's first through 9th option out of the pen

I don't think we've had a chance to see what the real Angel Guzman can do at the big league level because of all his injuries. He has a shot to contribute to this team out of the pen down the stretch. I have a feeling he will pull a Kevin Hart and make the playoff roster come October.

Lou is in a fix with Bob . He does what he wants , throws hard but , that is why he is sucking , he is throwing too hard and flattening out his fastball .
