View Full Version : Okay.... it's monday....fresh start

Let's forget about friday.... and sunday.... and pretty much the last week.

Today, it's Monday. The guys are off and enjoying a day in St. Louis. Tomorrow, it starts all over again. I need to think positive today.... have a positive outlook for the last three weeks of the season.

We are in first place. We have a four game lead. We have a magic number of 16.... and a playoff magic number of 12. We have our top pitchers on their way back this week, well rested. Our boys are in the drivers seat, and just need to take care of business, which I think they will do.

Enjoy the offday everyone.... it'll will be a couple of weeks before we see another one!

Off day next Monday too.

We've been better on the road lately, maybe a road trip is what we need.

I think it was hard for the team to get " up " for these last games . They really did not matter , it has been a long season and , they are getting tired .

We are going to St.Louis now , they will be up for that and should play up to it . After this we go to Houston , they are pretty beat up and have a few injuries so , it looks good there .

Then back home for the Brewers and Cards and a crazy Wrigley which is sure to hype them up .

I am willing to bet we will clinch the division on the 24Th at the Mets ( mainly because it is one of those stupid WCIU games and I won't be able to see it :( )

as my grandbaby says " it's all good "

WCIU???? IT HAD BETTER NOT! Oh, man, i didn't look at that! I don't get WCIU either, and the Cubs are blacked out on my mlb.tv.

Can we lobby Dish Network or something to get them to show it ? We do not live in thier local area so it should not apply to us . I may call dish.

I have Mediacom cable out of Geneseo. I have already tried to get them to cover the WCIU and the CSN+ games like they used to on their local access channel, and they won't do it.

I hope now Iowa is done Felix is on his way up to be the late inning defensive replacement for CF.
