We locked up Miller for next year. That takes care of 3 rotation spots (if you don't count Prior). Now it's time to go after some FAs.

I like the move gives us a rotation slotted so far as 1. Zambrano
2.???
3. Hill
4.???
5. Miller
Hopefully it was a 1 year deal with an option with incentives included.

I like this move also. I was hoping the Cubs would re-sign him. I think he's going to surprise some people this year.
His curve was nasty when he came back. Now if he can get his command back and arm strength back...lookout..;) ;)

How come nobody ever talks about Sean Marshall?
Is this guy not coming back or what.

Marshall will likely be in the minors next year unless he gets better in the off season. Not the type of pitcher you can count on.

The terms of Miller's deal are 1.5 million guaranteed with the possibility through incentives to reach 5.5 million. I love this deal by Hendry, it means he will be cheap and if we end up paying him 5.5 million it means because he kicked butt. It's a win win situation.
