A few things Bruce Levine stated on the radio today: The Marquis trade will happen in 3-4 days. Vizcaino could be flipped to another team quickly. The Cubs will save around 5.5 million in the deal. ..... The Peavy Deal is back on. ..... A few teams are talking to the Cubs about DeRosa, and something could happen over the next 5 days. The Cubs could use the money saved in trading DeRosa plus the prospects they get, to land Peavy. ..... The Bradley signing is a done deal, and will be announced next week. ..... The Cubs ownership situation should be settled in January.
