Okay, so my son came home from his dad's house not feeling well, so I cancelled my plans and stayed home with him. To make it fun, we played Cubs Uno and Cubs Checkers up until New Year's. Right before New Years, he grabbed the baseball that Matt Murton and Scott Eyre signed for him last April, and gave me my Ernie Banks autographed ball. We held on to them as 2007 rolled in...and we clanked our glasses of root beer together as a toast to Next Year being here! Happy New Year to all my fellow Cubs fans hoping for the same thing!

Sounds like a good New Years. I hung out with some freinds, and it was a great way to celebrate. Time kinda flew though, before we knew it, it was 15 minutes to midnight, and the last ten minutes of the year flew by. Let's just hope that the Cubs get it done in this 2007. I new year, new manager, new players, and a clean slate.

That's awesome. Cheers to the cubbies in 07. You can drink root beer instead of beer on new years, i didn't even drink at all. maybe some energy drinks

I agree. Happy New Year everyone! Hopefully the Cubbies won't let us down. Something tells me this is going to be a good year though. 2007 World Champions has a nice ring to it! :D
