I agree. Loretta is a solid hitter. Nice 2 hole hitter. I just wonder where they are going to play him. 2nd and 1st? Does that put Biggio at 2nd and CF?

Houston has a nicely improved offense. However, now their pitching might be their weakness

Sounds like he is going to be a utility player... They have a pretty solid infield, assuming everyone stays healthy. Berkman at first, Biggio at second, Ensberg at third and Everett at short. There is quite an injury/age factor in that infield, however, so Loretta is a great pickup for them.

Good for him! I've always admired Loretta, and wish him the best when he's not playing the Cubs. (And especially when playing the Cards) I hope he gets plenty of playing time.
