Yeah, he hasn't been on here for a while either. Anyway, I think his projections are pretty good except for Izzy. I don't see him hitting that many homers or having that many RBIs.

True. I hope this season is Izzy's day. He's about the only offensive weakness in our lineup.

Izzy's defense will make up for his offense.

His defense is the only reason I'm fine with him on the team. That and the fact that we have a lot of offense already.

I think that as well. He's got a gold glove...thats not to shabby in my book.

I hope they stick with him and we truly end up with a gold glove at SS. The addition of a good glove at SS will tremendously help the pitching staff.

Overall they look good. I think Barrett's numbers are a little inflated, as well as Hill's. I5 ike to think Marquis will put up more then 10 wins...

And I think we'll all take a Gold Glove calliber SS over Cedeno.

No doubt. Izzy would probably put up the same numbers Cedeno would anyway.

Exactly. And I think he has more power then Cedeno too.

Pitching and defense wins championships. If we arent solid up the middle then we dont stand a chance. As long as Izzy plays to form at SS I dont really care how well he does at the plate. I would love to see him hit close to .300 and drive in 75 runs or so, but realistically i dont see it happening.

I would take .260 from him as long as his defense is stellar. He was actually hitting quite well before he had TJ surgery.....I think he was batting near .300.

Izturis has a .259 batting avg. for his career,so around .260 is what we'll
probably get. If he plays the kind of great defensive Shortstop he's played in the past,.260 from your #8 hitter will not be bad.
My biggest concern is can he stay healthy for a full season.

Yeah, I definitely wouldn't expect .300 out of him. Who knows though.

Soriano's numbers looked a touch low to me, everything else looked about right though.

Maybe not, just checked the career stats.
