This sucker has to be fired now. If Ricketts has half a brain he would fire him now and start planning for the long term. If this idiot is left to his own devices he will trade away what good minor leaguers that are left for some piece of crap like Grabow or Gorzelany. He's also ruined countless players by mis-managing them and getting junk in return for major mistakes he's made.

It's time to change the reel and put on a new movie. Good luck winning with this bullpen and old men.

This team is being exposed rather quickly and it's a direct result of Hendry's incompetence.
I sure he rolls out of bed everyday and feels like the luckiest man on earth that he still has a job. This 1 man has screwed the Cubs fans royal for years to come

Yeah, the guy who has raised expectations, took the franchise to multiple playoff appearances, and built up a historically poor Cubs farm system as Cubs GM, is the problem!

Jim Hendry has made his fair share of bad moves. But for every Michael Wuertz trade, there's a Jeff Baker, Derrek Lee, Kenny Lofton, Aramis Ramirez, Mike Fontenot, trade... For every Milton Bradley, Aaron Miles signing, there's a Ryan Dempster(back when he was injured), Mark DeRosa, and Ted Lilly, signing.

Jim Hendry isn't a great GM... But he's a very solid one!

Hendry's biggest mistake was extending Lou. Outside of that everything else seems to be working. I know we have those long contracts but they have helped to rebuild the farm system. I know I may be extending more credit than he deserves but , if he did make all of these long contract so he could concentrate on the farm system it was a smart move.
We have quite a bit of hope in AAA. Most of our players are not that far off. We may be able to put together a winning team in a couple years.
