What a wonderful story of hope!

cnn.com (http://www.cnn.com/2007/LAW/01/12/missing.boys/index.html)

Before I went to bed a couple of nights ago, I was watching the one boy's family make a public plea on tv for the safe return of his son.... so when they found him..and a boy who has been missing for four years, it seems like miracles do happen!

I just caught the story on nightline. They showed the boys being led into the police station to be reunited with their families. It has to be strange for the boy who has been missing for four years. He was 11 when he was kidnapped. He's 15 now.

Thats an amazing story. Makes you wonder how someone can be hid for 4 years. Can't wait till they release more about this case. I would like to believe the justice system is gonna do whats right in this case.

i have been watching the families and their press conferences on fox news this morning...with the boys. Even the news guys are calling this a miracle. In a world where there is so much negative news coverage, it is so nice to wake up to a story like this!

I was watching the coverage too this morning. Not only were the news guys calling it a miracle, but the cops, investigators, etc. were too! There was one officer who had been in law enforcement for 29 years, and he said it was the most amazing thing he'd ever seen on the job and the best day of his life! It is nice to wake up to something like this.:)

Being in the St. Louis area myself, we've had a LOT of coverage of this story. It's amazing! They had no idea they'd find the boy that had been missing for 4 1/2 years. Just the one that was resently abducted. Also, they were trying to get into the guys apartment the night before, but couldn't get a search warrant until the next morning. What's up with that?

Has there been any talk of why the older boy didn't try to escape? He was only a short distance from home.... saw the posters of himself... had a cell phone and access to a computer. The captor obviously was gone part of the time as he had two jobs???? I know they are saying the whole "Stockholm Syndrome"...but, it sounds like he was free to come and go, at least part of the time!

Boggles the mind. I keep hearing that "Stockholm" thing too. I just heard on the news that there was apparently an incident where he was riding on his bike, and a police officer stopped him to ask him some questions (I didn't catch what it was about). Even then, he didn't identify himself as the missing child.
