A double punch to the gut.... both Wells and Cashner headed to the DL this morning. Wells has a forearm issue and Cashner has a mild rotator cuff strain. Casey Coleman is heading up from Iowa, and they are meeting now to decide what to do about the second starter opening now. Bet you Silva is choking on his "No Chance" comment now when asked if he would go to Iowa and be available if a starter went down!

I agree with ya on Silva. The man decided to take a chance with taking his $14.5 million golden parachute, but find out it didn't deploy in time.

That's OK Heather. I would rather not have Silva in the mix anyway. It looks like Casey Coleman will get the start on Sunday. Geez, I remember watching his dad pitch. Casey had a few nice starts last year, so I think he will do fine.

Nice to have you back!

I 'm not going to get too worked up about anything this year. I never saw where this team could be an above .500 team. There was no real improvements over last year , Castro improved bat but should be off set by his poor defence.

We simply just don't have good enough pitching to lean on and our hitting is too sporadic too put together more than three wins.
