Roger Clemens-S-Astros Jan. 13 - 1:20 pm et

Free agent Roger Clemens said Friday that he's nowhere close to making a decision on whether he wants to pitch in 2007.
"Right now I'm just chasing my boys around," he said. "I'm nowhere close to a decision." Expectations are that Clemens will pitch and do so for the Astros, Red Sox or Yankees. However, an official decision may be months away.

No kidding! Is it really that hard, especially since he's been through this process before? Just decide and quit toying with everybody already.

I disagree, I would probably do the same thing. He could still be a good pitcher. But I think he wants to be with his family. I don't know

I love how he just beats around the bush forever and then makes a decision. I hate the guy and always have.

If he would've pitched to start the season last year, the Astros may have ended up winning that division and not the Cardinals.

He's like baseballs version of a diva.

He's really had a sweet deal in Houston, and his son is in the organization, and he's a Texan,so he's playing at home.
I think that he'll stay in Houston, although the Yankees will dangle some big money his way now that they've unloaded the Unit.

I don't know Al. The Yanks will not only give him a hefty sum of money, but they offer him a better chance of winning than the 'Stros do. I mean, if he is more worried about being with his family than winning, what's taking him so long to decide? He should just retire.

Yeah,it would be a shame if he hangs around one season to long,he should go out while he is still "The Rocket".

i think he knows what he's going to do already. he's just waiting until a team throws out some outrageous money for him to pitch a half season and not travel when he's not to pitch... hmmm kinda sounds like last year.

Glad he isn't a Cub pulling this crap. To think about this from a team perspective he is really leaving them in a bad spot. They are hanging around with that question mark while all the free agents get signed so when he makes his decision after he gets done playing games with them there will be nobody to fill that void in there rotation. Keep jerking them around Roger your a real genious. And the Astros are even smarter for allowing you to do screw them like you are.
