He threw for Larry Rothschild at Northwestern and Larry said he did better mechanics wise that all of last year. I'm starting to think that Prior might be over this past 3 years and might make a real run of it. I know I know lets wait and see but there comes a point in a Cubs fan when all you can do is hope for the best. If Prior come on and makes 32+ starts then I wonder what all the Prior haters will say? Let me guess, "I thought he would come through this year". BS, I hate fans like that:mad: . I 100% have always liked Prior and always will as long as hes a Cub.:D

If he comes through this year and starts 32+ I say "Great". I just don't have the feeling this guy is going to stay a Cub either way. Once he get FA I see him going out west. He doesn't seem to be someone who wants to remain a Cub for life to me.

I have always liked Prior...fond memories...but I am tired of being disappointed and frustrated waiting for him to get healthy!

Prior always seemed to get hurt by freak injury's and that's why I was always willing to keep him. I was more pissed at Kerry Wood because his injury's seemed to come from nowhere.

I'm looking forward to seeing Prior come back strong and win us some games... Any pitcher has to feel better Dusty's no longer the manager...

MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY!!!!! But, I don't blame him for that, but if that has any part of it, that's pretty immature.

If what they say about his body holds any weight then he will not stay healthy.I say move on a nd trade him for what you can now rather than wait for him to breakdown again.

All i know is....one day Prior is gonna be a special player and i hope the Cubs havent given up on him when that day happens, who knows whats happened in the past with Baker and everything but you all cant deny that Prior ran into some ****ty luck over the last few years. I'm not ready to give up on him just yet. It still might not be too late to have a rotation of.....
Zambrano
Hill
Wood
Prior
Lilly
.......Just wishful thinking of course but that could be the rotation in 2008

It is to soon to give up on Prior. After the last couple of seasons his trade value has dropped considerably. I have a feeling, with not having the pressure of the teams whole season riding on "Wood and Prior",they both might bounce back. [Woody in the bullpen]

thinking about the prior situation makes my head want to explode. this is a contract year for him so if he wants to be thought of as a dominant pitcher he has to win damn near 20 games this year. i dont have mch faith in that happening but you never know. if they can get a deal done for pretty cheap and re negotiate agin after next year it will balance in our favor either way. if he has a stellar year great, we didnt pay much for it and we have exclusive rights next year. if not, oh well it didnt cost us much.
