Trying hard to move on from the dissapointment that is the Aram saga it's time to try and be positive. Free agency starts today I think we have an estimated 66 million to work with now that Aram's 11 million are off the books. I think we should be the front runners for Soriano now with the extra cash. Hendry can't fully redeem his screw ups but signing Soriano and say JD Drew would definately fix the hole ARAM leaves offensively. If he gets those 2 studs and then a Huff/Nomar fill in at 3B I would be happy with that. Signing those 3 should still give us plenty to go after Schmidt, Padilla, Suppan, Lilly, or any other SP on the market. Here's to trying to make this a positive :(

I hear ya wave. As much as it sucks, we have to move on. That's all we can do. My thoughts are on getting Drew (CF), Nomar (3B), Soriano (2B), and then one (maybe even two) of these SP: Zito, Padilla, Lilly, and Eaton. I don't know how high I am on any of the SP, but they are all fairly young and with the exception of Zito, they would be decent 3, 4, or 5 starters. It all depends on if these guys want to come play for us and play those positions, but I think we have the money to do it, so I expect us to be active.

After reading that article I'm worried and a little pissed if you read it closely I see crap like "Settle" and "Cheap Alternative". We go through the bs and broken promises every **** year, this better be just bad speculation by this reporter and not a reality.

I'll stay optimistic about Ramirez until he signs with another team....but I have a feeling he'll end up in Boston not LA:rolleyes:
