According to some LA radio station the Cubs have offered 4yrs/$60mil to Drew and the deal could be done as soon as tonight. Anybody else heard this. Don't know how credible it is, but that would seem a little steep to get J.D.

Could be...but I think Jones may be traded.

If they do sign him, and they get Pierre, he'll be the left fielder. But if they get him, they probably wont go for Pierre, and they'll have Pagan and Murton swtich off for left.

i saw the same thing on cubs.com. if we did get drew, that would free us up to trade jones to get a quality 200+ innings starter. i'd love it.

either sign a decent outfeilder for cheap, or give pagan a chance

I think this would be a big mistake to pay this guy that kind of money. He isnt worth it and is never happy where he plays. JH can find alot of better options with that kind of money.

I dont like this idea, he isnt worth that kind of money. We can find better options for that.
