Right now I'd say Pierre, but I'm not gonna vote yet. I wanna wait and see if this supposed J.D. Drew deal has any truth behind it.

I think it's Soriano, but if the bids get to be too much I think Drew is plan B.

Don't you think Soriano would play 2B for us? That's why I didn't put him on the list.

no because Hendry has already stated saying he values Soriano as a OF. Plus for the money he's getting he's better surved for OF, 2b is a lot easier to plug.

Soriano is a terrible 2nd baseman. I think the concensus is that he would benefit most by being a CF because a.) he can cover a lot of ground to chase down fly balls, b.) he has an above average arm (look at how many outfield assists he had this year) c.) he would be able to cut down on the errors in two ways-balls would be coming straight at him and would most likely not be tailing away or have a lot of spin/english on them and this would be his 2nd year in the outfield and the experience will help. The ONLY thing that worries me about Soriano is his suspect defense, but I could live with some defensive lapses to have him batting second for us. I think he has too much power to bat leadoff and would be good to have him protect someone like Theriot. Theriot would see a lot of good pitches and can be driven in by Soriano. I would love to give Theriot a shot at leadoff, ESPECIALLY if we can sign another big bat (such as Soriano) to compensate for rookie issues that may arise.

I would love Crawford, but unfortunately many teams want him and we wouldn't be able to come close to other teams offers of prospects and it is very unlikely Pierre will be back. Pierre has been given the cold shoulder pretty much not sure why you think he's coming back lol.
