Not sure if this thread has been started already, if not I am kinda surprised. I just wanted to see what you guys thought about Hardaway's comments about being homophobic and hating gay people. I think he is being a bigot but at least he isnt tiptoeing around the issue and being honest. Thoughts?

Thats just one of those situations he should have kept his mouth shut if he didn't agree with it because it really puts the spotlight on him.

I agree. Not to mention the fact that he only said he apologized for saying what he said, but he didn't take it back, meaning he actually feels that way. Pretty stupid. He deserves all the backlash he's getting for it.

Not sure if he could have kept his mouth shut since he was asked directly on a live talk show, but he could have side stepped the question and masked his bigotry some. Could have avoided the backlash. But then again he is a bigot so he deserves it. This reminds of the John Rocker fiasco, the only difference is that Hardaway isnt playing anymore.
