I don't no how many of you have ever tried to sit and watch a southsiders game. What I was thinking when I first tried it I don't no...from the moment I heard the Hawk's patented "YOU CAN PUT IT ON THE BOOOOAAAARDD YESSS!!!!" I nearly defened myself with a blowhorn.

I was watching one day and DJ was going on and on about nothing. He asked Hawk what his opinion was. Hawk said, "I'm sorry DJ, I wasn't listening"

I hate watching those games because the announcers sound so boring. I watched it once and he even said the "you can put it on the board" thing in such a monotone voice.

Hawk and Dj both suck....IMO....I can pretty much listen to any good ballgame out there, but those two...lol...the mute button goes on pretty quick.

I personally hate the whole "He Gawn" B.S, f'ing annoying is what it is. And good Ol' D.J, he reminds me of Monty, Harry Doyle's announcing partner in the "Major League" movies, nothing to say and nothing good to add to the conversation.

They both think every White Sox player is an all-star, they talk like theya re all big and bad, and never get to the bad things.
The only White Sox player I like is Ryan Sweeney, he went to a HS near my town, and is a great ball player, and will be for years to come. The guy is only 22 and will probably make the club.

They always say how if another player on the other team messes up how terrible the play was or how terrible they are. But when it comes to them messing up they "Just missed played it," or "The sun really gave him troubles with it." They're so biast. At least when Len and Bob call a game they give the other teams credit and don't make them sound horrible.

I can't stand it when they say there's a bloop hit but if it was the Sox getting the same kind of hit it's just a base hit not bloop hit.....yea they are complete tools.
DLee25
Mar 8th 2007, 10:35 pm
Honestly, they are tools, Webgem you are right.
The guys need to give the other teams credit, and quit sounding like tools. They sometimes sound like kids. Most annoying things they say, is "He gaw" or "You can put it on the board, yes!!!!!!!" that last one, I hope some big wind comes in when someone hits a high home run abll and it gets pushed back to the grass. Wow, that would be hilarious, "You can put it on the board, What the ****?"

I cant stand Hawk. DJ is ok but that 'he gone' thing is childish and just plain annoying. Even if I was a sox fan i wouldnt be able to tolerate it.

They just love them because they know they piss other fans off. I wonder what their job interviews where like...they probably got the job because they kept coming back and management got tired of hearing "YESSS!"

Absolutely. If im fast enough ill hit mute on the remote. I can generally watch a sox game and be somewhat impartial but that kind of things just makes me pull for whoever they are playing.

I would rather squeeze my nuts in a vise until they pop rather than listen, watch, or even acknowledge the existence of the White Sux organization, their fans, or their butt nugget announcers. He can take his can o' corn, shove it up his hoo-ha, and then put that on his board.
Whew! I feel better...

I'm gonna predict a 4th place finish this year in their division. The Tigers will be there again, so will the Twins, and I think the Indians may even be there. Not looking good on the southside of town. Hey Hawk....how about you do "HE GONE" for Ozzie??

I've always hated Hawk's "YOU CAN PUT IT ON THE BOARD! YESSSS!" Not saying that Len's high pitched squeel when the Cubs get a homer isn't slightly annoying, but it's better then the Hawk.
