Anyone know much about this kid? I have seen him as a highly tauted prospect in a few magazines, but know little about him. Is he good enough to be considered for a roster spot in 2008 or 2009?

Donnie Veale is a 22 year old lefthanded pitcher who has drawn comparisons
to Dontrelle Willis. He is 6'4"tall,weighs in at 215lb.
His fastball is in the 89-93mph range, with late life. His curveball and change are described by scouts as "plus" pitches. His durability and heart belie his 22 years. He is ticketed for AA.

The only Veal I know of comes from sheep.

Back in the early 70's,the Pirates had 3 pitchers on their staff who should of opened a butcher shop.

As far as the young prospect making it to the big leauges anytime soon,we might have to do our Howie Mandel impression and ask the question,
"Veale or no Veale?"

Haggis comes from sheep. Don't ask me to describe the cooking methods.

It's not the cooking, it's which bits of sheep, and how you get them out of it...

I'd rather have haggis than veal.

It has such a bad rep and i really dont know why...

Oh, come on. They're both good. Veal is easier to cook, though.
