He is a good ball player. But he should not make more than Aramis or Lee. Even if it is a by 400,000 or a million. But maybe Hendry is allowed to spend more money this year and will spend 40 million this year.

I agree. There is no way he should be making close to what Lee or Ramirez are making.

I heard the actual offer was 3yr. 40 million. thats just over 13 million. He is pretty good, but I would wait til after the GM meetings. Are we going to put him in center, and go after Carlos Lee, who wants to come to the Cubs. Imagine: Lee, Drew, Jones. That would be good, but I doubt if we get Drew that we would go after Lee.
