Obviously we need 2 starters so if he is signed we will need 1 more, but I really hope we get this guy. He had a 4.5 era and 15 wins and when you consider he did that in Texas with that launching pad of a park those are impressive numbers in that park and in the AL. He's only 29 so he's just hitting his prime, he's a strike-out/groundball pitcher like Z. He's the stocky work horse type just like Z of course nowhere near as good, but I think he is what our rotation needs. Best of all he is represented by Aram's agent as well, to me this would be a great fit. He has nasty stuff :cool:

I think he would be a good pick but not for 10 mill. I also love the fact that he hates the sox as much as we do and isnt afraid to show that. He belongs here.

He wouldn't be a bad option, but if you look at his numbers the two years before last year, he had a worse ERA when he was with the Phillies. If you're looking for that kind of production, you might as well go after somebody like Eaton or Lilly who you could probably get cheaper.
