Top 100 prospects [Archive]

Hey, check out Baseball America's top 100. The Cubs have 3 on the list with Pie, Veal and Samardzija. Nice overview of all the teams (Detroit has two top ten, scary). It doesn't look like the NL Central has too much coming up, so with this year's team and our top prospects, we should be good to go the next few years.

I'm surprised that Eric Patterson wasnt mentioned. He can't be to far out of it though.

This occuerd to me after looking at the list...Why is Matsuzaka on there. He's not exactly a prospect. If that's the case then why didn't they put Rich Hill in their?? So confusing.

Since Matsuzaka has never played a major league game, he's considered a prospect. Ichiro was considered the same... Hill played last season, therefore lost his propsect status...
