I dig the aggressiveness... Theriot with a triple, 5 SB's for the team.

I don't dig the crap station in Oakland not finishing the game, and turning to Golden Bears basketball... Looks like I'll miss the 10th...

Glad to see Barrett isn't affected by that nasty groin injury.

Here's the recap of the game from Cubs.com:

Cubs 5, A's 5, 10 inn.
at Phoenix
Saturday, March 3
Cubs at the plate: Michael Barrett's inside-the-park homer off the wall in center was the offensive highlight of the day. Among the others were Ronny Cedeno's second homer of the spring, a one-out shot to left in the top of the first inning; Buck Coats' RBI single in the third; a triple by Ryan Theriot and an RBI single by Jacque Jones in the fifth; and Tomas Perez's sacrifice fly in the sixth. Cedeno and Barrett each had two hits.

A's at the plate: Nick Swisher's first hit of the spring, a two-out single to center with the bases loaded in the seventh, snapped his 0-for-7 slide and drove in two runs to pull the A's into a 5-5 tie. Also of note: Mike Piazza singled off the base of the left-field wall in the bottom of the first, and with two out in the inning he hustled all the way around to score on prospect Travis Buck's double to right-center field. Buck added a sacrifice fly in the fourth, which Milton Bradley and Piazza opened with consecutive doubles.

Cubs on the mound: Starter Wade Miller gave up a run on two hits and struck out two in his first Cactus League outing. Closer Ryan Dempster and Jeff Samardzija also made their 2007 debuts, both working one perfect inning. Non-roster lefty Ryan O'Malley gave up two runs on four hits and a walk over two innings, and righty Carlos Marmol gave up two runs in one inning.

A's on the mound: Righty starter Dan Haren gave up a run on two hits over two innings in his first outing of the spring. Prospect Dallas Braden also worked two innings and gave up two runs on three hits. Righties Chad Gaudin, Michael Mitchell and Kaz Tadano and lefty Ron Flores each pitched a scoreless inning.

Cactus League records: Cubs 0-2; A's 1-1.

Up next: The Cubs take on their Windy City rivals Sunday at HoHoKam Park and plan to start lefty Rich Hill against the visiting White Sox, who list righty Jon Garland as their probable starter. The A's are set to start righty Esteban Loaiza, who will be followed by righty Rich Harden, in their game in Peoria, Ariz., against the host Padres, who list righty Greg Maddux as their starter.
