Will there be anyone to make a big move before the deadline in our division? I think whoever does will win it. This division is so closely matched after watching the last two weekends. We are paying so much attention to the Cards and Crew, while the Reds and Stros are right there. The Cards have both the best P and player in the division with Pujols and Carpenter. I think the Cards and Stros have the best 1-2 punch as 1 and 2 starters goes, but a starting staff as a whole I would lean towards ours just ahead of Cincy- that is with Volquez healthy. The Brewers can slug with anyone but there pitching is by far the worst in the division. They do have a solid pen though. Offensively, to me the Stros scare me as much as anyone. Im still banking on the thought that Pitching wins and for what its worth our 1-5 is pretty darn good. Our pen has the makings to be good as well. Our offense, on the other hand, is pretty bad.
Interesting second half coming.

I have heard rumors, but nothing concrete. rumors had St. Louis saying they would allow the bluejays to pick any 5 minor leaguers for Halliday. But that was shot down by some reports
