This team is just not good enough..

...to win the division, let alone the WS.That is just how I see it.

Virtually no production out of CF,RF and C.The production from 2B was good for a while but has dried up.1B has not produced like expected.

Please say something that will change my mind.

Thank you for always having something good to say about this team.
1. Derrek Lee has started to produce more often recently. He's started hitting more homeruns.
2. Jones has started to swing the bat better of late in CF and is driving in more runs.
3. We have a solid rotation and solid 'pen.
4. We play in the weakest division in baseball
5. The Brewers are inexperienced and wearing down

I feel your pain MICKEYROM. I think 2b , however has been a bright spot with Dero and Font. I think Dero will play the majority of the time there the rest of the year. I lloked at JJs career numbers last night. He has never been this low in HRs with exception to early in his career, but the last 4 years he had consistently been in the mid 20s. Average wise though, he has had similar years. Floyd would be nice if he could play everyday. He nor Lee has hit for the power I thought.

As far as winning the division and championships go- Pitching is usually the answer and right now we are 2 in the lleague- I dont know how, but we are and we also play good defense.. I think our starting pitching is the only advantage we have over the Brewers. If you look at the lineups how many players do you think we have that would start for them? The answer is one- Soriano/ If Braun could be moved to second then we would have 2 in Rammy

I felt this team was not good enough to reach post season before June. But now i think they can. Why not? The Brewers aren't exactly running away with the division.

And when the post season comes you can throw everything out the window. Because all it takes is a team to get hot to win it all. Just win 3 consecutive series in the post season and we are dancing in the streets.

I'm just going to do a rundown on positions:
1st: Fielder=offense....no defense, wears down at end of year. Lee= Gold Glover, good average, pretty good pop, consistent all year. I'll take Lee

2nd: Rickie Weeks= Who?? Oh yeah the guy that gets hurt all the time and is batting about .230. Derosa/Fontento= Good bats Dero good D, Font can improve. I'll take Dero and Font

SS: Hardy= What a power surge at the beginning of the year....what's he done since then? Good defense. Theriot= BRINGS ENERGY...SPARK PLUG, catalyst in the 2 hole, plays a solid SS on D. Edge to The-Riot

3rd: Braun= Good young hitter, Shaky D. Ramirez= Offensive force, Much improved D. Don't you think the leauge will figure Braun out? Toss up

LF: Soriano no question

CF: Hall no question

RF: Hart no question

So I don't understand where you would want only Soriano out of these 2 teams to start. Braun over Ramirez???? Shocking.

Rammy is my favorite player in the league. Braun is the next Pujols though. Weeks is having a bad year due to his wrist.

Ill give Lee and Fielder a tossup at best

Rammy and Braun are even

I would take Weeks and Hardy though. Thats just me.

Braun is good but I would have to take the better defender and the one that has a track record in the league. I take Rammy over Braun everytime

Brauns defense is horrible. I think he will eventually be in the OF.
