Funny story with Soriano's hummer.... for that game, my son and I took a bus to the game as part of a bus trip with a local bank. We took the picture before the game, and my son, who absolutely idolizes Soriano, was just mesmerized by Soriano's wheels. After the game, on Lakeshore Drive, our bus got sideswiped and so we had to pull over and wait for the police to come (the collision tore the drivers side rear view mirror off his new SUV). As we were sitting in traffic, my son was looking out the window and Soriano drove by us and he starts to jump up and down and yell "MOM! MOM! DID YOU SEE HIM???? SORIANO JUST DROVE RIGHT BY US!!!!" The guy sitting across from me looked at me and asked how he knew that, and I told him that we usually spend time around the players parking lot and he knows most of the vehicles the players drive. The guy said, "He's what, five, six?" I told him that he is a true Cub fan, and as a true Cub fan, age doesn't matter! (This guy was there for the beer.... he probaby thought that the goal of the game was for the center to hit a touchdown).... the kind of people at Wrigley I wish would just stay outside and visit the local drinking establishments that surround Wrigley.
