As good as Lou was last night

He definately made a questionable move tonight letting Ohman face the back up C. Why? Wuertz was ready. Roberts was on deck. We needed the out there, before Roberts. I know we can blame Kendall but Lou could have bailed him out and did not. Not to mention, why are we throwing a slider to Dave Roberts on a 3-2 count- did he turn into Barry Bonds over night.

I think Kendall just had a bad night tonight. He was calling the pitches, and he's unfamiliar with the staff, having just come over from the A's. And the foul pop that he couldn't make the play on eventually hurt the Cubs. I'm not saying he lost it for us, but he had a night to forget in the first game with his new team. Plus, Zito was on after giving up the first-inning run.

Yes, Lou had a questionable decision leaving in Ohman after getting out Bonds with Wuertz ready. This is just a game with a bunch of brain farts on the Cubs' part. Let's hope this game got them all out of their system and come back tomorrow afternoon and Thursday afternoon to take the series.
