Goodbye Guzman

This guy got me a little excited the last time he pitched.Good control, clocking at 95MPH and throwing strikes.I guess my enthusiasm was premature. He will be back in AAA very soon.

Is he being sent down? At least we'll get to see what Wade Miller can do now. If he doesnt produce then we'll have Guzman back at AAA, not a bad scenario.

I have a hunch that Miler will produce, and if he stays healthy, by midseason,he will be the second best pitcher in the rotation.
Just a feeling.

Guzman needs more work. I like how he's pitching down in the zone this spring. He'll probably start the year in AAA and work on an out pitch.

We have a problem that most teams would love to have. WE HAVE TOO MUCH PITCHING!

What a great problem to have. We haven't been able to say this for quite a while.

After the year we had last year when in all reality we really didn't even have a rotation, except we knew Big Z would take the ball every fifth day, it is a WONDERFUL problem to have.

He just needs a little time to figure out how to pitch to Major Leaguers. He can no longer rely on raw talent, he needs to learn to pitch not just throw. Once he does that he will be a fixture in our rotation. Remember he has lost a lot of time to injury the past few years, except for last year.
