Milton Bradley's reason for not hitting

The ump's are conspiring against him! I wish he'd just shut up and hit! ... http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=4204044

This decision is looking worse and worse!

Adam Dunn: .284/.420/.594 .. 14 HR .. 39 RBI .. 1.013 OPS
Raul Ibanez: .352/.412/.739 .. 17 HR .. 43 RBI .. 1.151 OPS
Milton Bradley: .188/.310/.333 .. 4 HR .. 9 RBI .. .643 OPS

Agreed Bims, the guy just needs to shut the hell up, he is getting the same treatment as everyone else, but he has the mentality everyone is out to get him. It's pathetic for a grown man to blame other aspects for his own short comings.

I wouldnt go quite as far as he did, saying that the Umps are agaisnt him. But I do think he has a valid point. How does the best OBP guy come and just not perform as well

I believe umpires do have agendas. I believe Bradley has a case, but it is a loosing battle. They will never admit to doing such a thing.

So you believe their is some "umpire conspiracy" going on against Milton? Come on man! They aren't the ones swinging the bat. He is. Thier hasn't been that many bad calls against him.

Then we can use the same excuse for Ricky Nolasco. Last season he had a 3.52 ERA. This season it's at 9.07. Umpires out to get him!

Lance Berkman hit .312 last season. This season he's hitting .231. Umpire out to get him!

Jon Lester had an ERA of 3.21 last season. It;s 5.91 this season. Umpire conspiracy!

This is baseball. Dropoffs happen. New park, expectations, not able to make adjustments. But nobody is working together to make a player do worse.

Looking at his AB's he has gotten the same treatment as everybody else on the team. He needs to adapt his strikezone for a particular umpire. It's no secret some umpires have big zones, some have small. It's baseball, that's what happens. He is just way too defensive. He seemed to connect a few times tonight, so the umpires must of been having a night off of there conspiracy.
