Seriously, fellow Cub fans...

We are of different ages so we have different memories, but I have never seen such a pitiful Cub team as this year.I am almost 75 years old,so I have seen many bad teams, but they never bored me like this edition. It's sad when our two best players,so far,are single and double hitters. Not a power hitter anywhere to be seen. Will be so glad to say good bye to one of my favorites(in the past) Aramis.

You hit the nail on the head, boring . It is so predictable and tired. It is almost as though they are replaying three games over and over . You have the hammer the ball adding runs easy win , the pitcher holds them down to a couple runs and Cubs can't buy a hit , or the Cubs score early put up a few runs but know that they will soon give it up and lose. You sit through the first couple endings and you know what game it will be .

Angry feels like

the Jose Nieves Lance years to me. Maybe Todd "Huntley" is available? This team is hopeless and Jim Hendry is drafting today. Stick a fork in me

And he has about 8 two sport guys to throw big money at. Maybe we will draft a QB.

Crazy insane rumor out there . . . #Cubs taking 23-year-old Cuban LHP Onelki Garcia Speck at 9. Good velo, good breaking ball.
hahaha what a stupid baseball team

I doubt it happens, this is probably (hopefully) a joke someone threw out there after the Hayden Simpson pick last year.

I'm growing increasingly impatient with Wilken's drafts, while seeing all the guys drafted around our picks start coming through to the big leagues and making impacts. That's great the Cubs have a deep system, but 25 Darwin Barney's ain't worth one Joey Votto.

In 46 games (45 starts), he struck out 195 but walked 128. His last season was 2009-10, when he went 5-6, 3.40.
Sounds like the Cuban Rich Hill

11 of the Cubs first 16 picks in the draft has been high schoolers . Guess what people , we are going to wander the wilderness for at least four more years !!

It actually gives me some hope for this team . They may be brooming the way they have been doing things and starting over with this draft.
