8th inning Cubs chant

At the Great American Ball Park against the Reds this evening, Ronny Cedeno was up in the bottom of the 8th inning with 1 out and Pagan on second.

The Cubbie faithful was chanting... "Let's Go Cubbies, Let's Go Cubbies."

I know this happens alot on the road but nothing like tonite... it was electric.

For those of you who didn't have a chance to watch it on CSN, the crowd was almost half blue, I sh*t you not... they showed the entire stadium a few times, and there was almost as much blue as red.

My point??? Simple. Cubs fans are the best fans and that is all I gotta say about that!!!

I did hear that, and it gave me goosebumps! It has to help the guys when they are on the road as the fans are always the 10th man during a homestand, and when you have that 10th man on the road, it's amazing!

That is why, no matter what happens with this team, past or present, I will always be proud to stand tall as a Cub fan! I'm with a group of great people who feel the same way!
Baseball season's underway...
So you'd better get ready for a brand new day
Hey Chicago whattya say?

Thats the one thing I liked about the best of 9 world series and the first 2 games at a nuetral site. I hate the idea of the nuetral site but you do have to believe that we would have the advantage because of our fans.

I live an hour north of Cinci and I have been to several games there. Everytime I have been there it has been almost 50/50. However I do not get cinci local tv stations so I have had to listen to the game on Lastnight during the 7th inning stretch it was sang as if it was being done at Wrigley. It is amazing to see the support this team gets while being on the road.
