First time listening

This is the first time I have ever listened to Pat and Ron. I have heard them on certain plays, but not for an entire game. I really worry about Ron. He reminds me a lot of most die hard Cub fans that just gets so upset at everything. Gosh Darn it- Ive heard at least 6 times all ready.
Its definately a great listen.

Ron is very emotional... his emotions are exactly what we as fans feel and he lets them go on air....sometimes, he gets so frustrated you hear silence because they have to "dump" his microphone! Many people hate listening to him, but I love it because it does add the emotion. I did worry about him the other night in Pittsburgh becuase he got very worked up. And then you didn't hear much from him at all.

You want some great stuff, http://www.wgnradio.com/marketplace/...9283.htmlstory

The Cubs broadcast is one of the best on radio. It is a great radio show that happens to have a ballgame going on.

No offense to Ron, but he keeps the broadbast from being the best. Pat is the best there is for play by play, but Rons stammering keeps it from being the best. that being said, i love the emotion

Pat does sound very good. I have to be honest here there is nobody better than Vin IMO.

I think Pat and Ron compliment each other so well. Ron will get going...and Pat will calmly say something to get Ron back on track or to lighten the mood.

Ron has made himself the stereotype for the self-loathing cub fan. Sometimes he's funny, but most of the time he's kind of annoying. I can't really listen to him when he's constantly bumbling and grumbling.

Pat Hughes is awesome though. He's a really eccentric person too, apparently he's written a bunch of books about CIA conspiracies.
